Bank Settlement - Details

We are pleased to inform you that long awaited historic bipartite settlement for Wage Revision and Pension has been signed today at Mumbai by U.F.B.U./U.F.B.O. The settlement on pension is long awaited demand and now second pension option is the great achievement of all of us. You are aware that NOBO has raised and followed this pension option for PF optees for existing employee and retired employee from 1995 and now under the banner of U.F.B.U. we have achieved it. PF optees to contribute 2.8 times of new salary as of 1.11.2007 as incremental cost towards pension.
Other details regarding Wage Revision as below:
The Details of Revised scales and allowances w.e.f. 01.11.2007 are as follows -
1) i) Basic Pay:

JMGS – I
Rs. 14,500/- to Rs. 31,500/-
MMGS – II
Rs. 19,400/- to Rs.34,200/-
MMGS – III
Rs. 25,700/- to Rs. 35,100/-

Including two Additional Stagnation Increments.

SMGS – IV
Rs. 30,600/- to Rs. 36,200/-
SMGS – V
Rs. 36,200/- to Rs. 40,400/-
TEG – VI
Rs. 42,000/- to Rs. 46,800/-
TEG – VII
Rs. 46,800/- to Rs. 52,000/-

ii) D. A. - At 0.15% per slab for every 4 points rise.

iii)HRA – unchanged.
Major ‘A’ class cities - 8.5%
Other places in Area I - 7.5%
Other places - 6.5%

iv)Medical Aid-
Scale I to III-Rs.4,850/- p.a.
Scale IV & above - Rs.6,625/- p.a.

v) Stagnation Increments -
Two additional stagnation increments in each scale upto MMGS – III.
